The Pension Compensation Scheme for the NR-sector is a scheme whereby members of Industri Energi and SAFE may seek compensation for lost pension rights when they are dismissed prior to reaching the regular age of retirement.
For mobile offshore units, the following applies:
Applicants must be at least 57 years at the time of termination and been a member of the scheme for 15 years. The member may have had several employers within the scope of the Collective Agreement.
For fixed installations, the following applies:
Applicants must be at least 59 years at the time of termination and been a member of the scheme for 15 years. The member may have had several employers within the scope of the Collective Agreement.
Employers that applicants refer to in the application form must have been/be members of the NR in order to be included as members of the scheme.
The scheme applies to members who are affiliated to the Norwegian National Insurance Scheme and who have not received 15% of pension compensation in accordance with Appendix 4 Pension, in the Collective Agreement.
